MUSEUM OF APPLIED ART IN BELGRADE MUSEUM OF VOJVODINA IN NOVI SAD
The exhibition “A Touch of Glass” was held at the Belgrade Museum of Applied Arts from 9 February to 15 March and at the Museum of Vojvodina in Novi Sad from 21 March to 20 April 2017. The exhibition consists of 80 glass items, promoting Nordic design and glass factories, and at the same time showcasing the example of successful Nordic cooperation in all spheres.
The items are produced in 13 famous glass factories and design studios, under the guidance of some of the best Nordic artists, architects and desginers. From Denmark, the exhibition shows the works of Holmegaard, Architectmade and Lene Bjerre glass factories; Littala and Lasismi glass works, as well as Gallery Mafka & Alakoski (producing its items in a famous Riijimäki factory), all come from Finland;Hadeland, Gjovik and
Magnor glass factories, as well as studio Nosteangen Glass are from Norway, and finally, Målerås, Skrufs and Nybroglass factories represent Sweden.
